BioSo, where am I at right now? I'm living in Galena, got my own house (renting), my own truck (paying back the bank), and my own bills (unfortunately, all mine). I'm 24, I teach high school social studies. It's a love/hate relationship that I have with the job. Lately, the students manage to give me a headache on a daily basis. On the other hand, they make my life so very interesting! Then there are the girls I "check out," which means I take them out of the dorms and am responsible for them, on the weekends, so we can watch loads of TV on DVD together :)
So, Galena is one of those places you have to see to believe.Three TWO stores, five roads, two schools, and the bar. There are no roads out of town and the only way to get to the nearest cities is to fly, which costs more than flying from NYC to Paris. Trust me, I've done it.
Which means I'm left with other, more creative, less expensive (sometimes), escape routes. I'm obsessed with entertainment. TV, movies, my computer, books, music, I love it all. Especially TV shows, where I can escape for an hour at a time and be obsessed with someone else's life. And TV on DVD...it's an all-day (or night) escape. I love it.

My current obsessions are Veronica Mars, Smallville, Firefly, Angel, Buffy, Charmed, One Tree Hill, the early seasons of The OC, Friends, Bones, How I Met Your Mother, My Name Is Earl, SVU, Roswell, Wonderfalls, Prison Break, Supernatural, Heroes, Ugly Betty, Joan of Arcadia, Samurai Champloo, Glee, and Sky High. I think I'm beginning to see signs of a borderline obsessive disorder...
Latest obsession --> GLEE!!!!!!!!! SO MUCH AWESOMENESS IN 55 MINUTES!!! I'm so sad I have to wait till the fall to watch more!
